We would love to do a destination wedding but most family will not be able to join us for that of course. I don't want to deal with the planning that goes with it. I thought it would be good to take a few people with us and come back for a reception party. Our families aren't that happy with that, any suggestions from anyone going through the same or have done destination weddings?? |

We were thinking about a destination wedding too but there would be too many upset relatives. We are going for a small wedding which is more cozy anyway. Turns out we will save more money by staying in Illinois. We are cutting corners by doing buffet lunch at a smaller reception hall. Nothing fancy but family will be there. In the end it's your wedding and you have to do what you feel is right. |

destination weddings are great if you have the money and family won't be upset with you for not getting married close to home. |
