Many photographers have packages.  It is best to look through them and see what fits you best.  It is also very important that you bond with the photographer.  A lot of studios out there will book your date and you don't meet the photographer until your wedding day, which is not really that good.  A lot of studios have online proofing on their website so you can view all your photos and order prints right from their site.  Decide what you want as far as options and go from there.  I personally am looking for just the coverage with all photos on CD and maybe a wedding album.  We are getting married in naperville in august of this year.  Hope this helps.  There are also discounts at times so be sure to ask.  We are still looking for a photographer.  I'm currently looking at sar studios based in elgin.  Their prices are really pretty good and the owner is nice.  They also offer 2 photographers with all packages which we like.  Also, one of my friends is getting into photography and her work is pretty good but she never shot weddings before so we are looking at that also.

Hello,

Has anyone used these SAR studio guys?  I have heard some great things, and there work looks good. Since me and my husband are looking for a photo service.

Thanks!
Anna

Actually my friend went with SAR studios and loved them.  I saw their leather proofbook, which was beautiful.  There were 2 photographers there which I thought was a great idea.  The pictures turned out great.  They were going to go with another studio but found SAR at the last minute and went with them.  Very friendly and nice people.

A friend of mine used Edward Fox studios and their photos were not that good.  She was very upset.  They really overpaid for low quality work.  I'm no photographer but I know what good is and this wasn't it.  They are just a name and I would recommend going with someone you feel comfortable with and with nice quality work.  Don't just go for a name because it's a name.

I used SAR and really liked them.  I like the idea that you get 2 photographers all day so they can get all sorts of candid shots.  Most studios only give you 1 photographer for the day.  Plus they were really nice to work with.  I think the quality of their work is outstanding and they got everything very timely.  I deal with photography a lot and went to 7 different studios and SAR was the best by far to work with.  I wanted to know my photographer ahead of time and most don't let you know who you have until about 2 weeks before hand.  Not enough time for me.
